What to Expect
- A 2-hour eco- conscious adventure through enchanting Kauri Forest, overlooking Man O’ War Bay on Waiheke Island.
- Check in at our Experiences Centre in Man O' War Bay, followed by a short scenic drive through rolling farmland and vineyards to a Viewpoint offering panoramic island views from 210m above sea level.
- Descend via three, tandem ziplines (spanning over 900m) and 660m of connecting boardwalk with the Hauraki Gulf as your backdrop.
- Full sit, comfortable hands-free harnesses ensure a smooth, forward-facing ride.
Man O' War Tasting Room & Restaurant
- Ensure you allow enough time to sample some Man O War wines and enjoy a leisurely lunch. Book your table and/or tasting separately here (we recommend 1.5 hours for lunch or 2.5-3 hours with wine tasting).
- Dine before or after your zipline experience, however please be aware you cannot partake in the Forest Flight experience impaired by drugs or alcohol.
Getting to Man O' War Bay
- Approx 90 minutes from downtown Auckland, directly accessible via Explore Group ferries or the Fullers Eastern Explorer coach from Matiatia Ferry Terminal.
- Check-in 15 minutes before your Forest Flight departure time at the Experiences Centre. Please schedule your travel accordingly. View timetables and book tickets here
> The Experiences Centre is a 5 minute walk from Explore Ferry drop off and 8 minute walk from the Tasting Room (Fullers Eastern Explorer drop off). - Parking is available at both the Experiences Centre and Tasting Room.
Restrictions & Important Information
- Weight range: 35 -125kg, minimum height: 125cm.
- Not suitable for pregnant individuals or those with heart conditions, back/neck injuries, or broken bones.
- Children (7- 15) must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
- Participants must be in good health, able to walk stairs, carry gear (~3kg), and manage their body independently.
- Clean, closed toe shoes mandatory.
